Old Bangalore Walking Tour

This walking tour of the city will take you through the very heart of Bangalore. We begin at Lal Bagh’s manicured gardens where one could wander for hours through the winding trails.

Next on the tour is King Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, similar to Daria Daulat Palace at Srirangapatna. Although the frescoes of this palace have not survived, its intricate its teak wood work make a visit here worth your while. You will then discover Bangalore Fort which was established by the city’s founder in 1537 AD.

To top it all off, we will end this walking tour at KR Flower market where you can immerse yourself completely in the bustling sights, scents and sounds of one of Bangalore’s oldest markets. And after your tour, you could even do some souvenir shopping to gift to family and friends back home.
